Description
Temple jewellery was made for deities before it was made for people, and the technique came with it. The figure is raised from the back of a thin gold sheet with punches, then chased from the front to sharpen the detail.
A cast copy of this would take an hour. This takes nine days, and you can tell by the depth of the relief.
Strung on a hand-knotted red silk cord, with a gold chain included in the box.
