Dr Rumika's — Three rooms: Art, Beauty & Fine Jewellery

The house

Three rooms, one standard

  1. Named makers

Every piece carries the name of the person who made it and where their bench is. If we cannot tell you that, we do not sell it.

  2. Small runs

Nothing is made by the ten thousand. Some things exist once. Most things exist a few hundred times and then do not exist again.

  3. The whole list

Ingredients by weight, metals by karat, pigments by name. No proprietary blends, no claims we cannot show you the work behind.

  4. No borders

Seoul, Bangkok, Jaipur, Copenhagen, Lagos. We go where the craft is rather than where the story is easiest to tell.

Ritual, bottled

Apothecary

Cold-pressed oils, fermented essences, kohl ground the old way. Formulas from Seoul, Bangkok, Jaipur and Copenhagen, made in small batches and written down honestly — every ingredient, every gram, nothing hidden behind a word like “complex”.

Weight you can feel

Vault

Kundan, granulation, hand-drawn silver. Made by people whose grandparents made the same joins, wherever the bench happens to be — and at a scale small enough that each piece is still argued over before it leaves it.

A house is not a category. It is a set of people you would trust with a thing you keep.

The same standard runs through all three rooms — the maker is named, the run is small, and the list is complete.

Three women sitting together on a linen daybed in warm light, relaxed and mid-conversation.

The house

For women who were tired of being sold to

This started as a list of complaints. Ingredient lists nobody could read. Gold too light to hand down. Paintings priced like assets rather than objects. We asked the women we know what they actually wanted, listened properly, and then went looking for the people already making it — small benches, named makers, runs that end.

Nothing here is designed to make you feel like a project. You are not a problem with a routine attached.

A gallery without walls

Gallery

Painting reimagined, pigment ground by hand, photography that treats a wall like a face. Rooted in India and open to anyone making work worth a wall. Each piece arrives with the room it was made for.
