The Gallery
A gallery
without walls
Painting reimagined, pigment ground by hand, photography that treats a wall like a face. Rooted in India and open to anyone making work worth a wall. Each piece arrives with the room it was made for.

Origins
Where inherited hands meet a new eye
Pulse
Color as heartbeat, pigment as breath
Threshold
Standing at the door between worlds

Living with it
A wall is not a gallery, and that is the point
Nothing here was made for a white cube. These are works sized for the rooms people actually have — over a sofa, at the end of a hallway, across from the bed — and they are priced so that owning one is a decision rather than an investment thesis.
I was taught to paint the way my grandmother's teachers were taught — squirrel-hair brush, stone pigment, breath held between strokes. Then I began to un-teach myself. The miniature is not a relic; it is a lens. I paint the present at the scale of devotion.
The artists
Made by hand

How it arrives
Framed, papered and ready for the hook
Work leaves here finished. You are not meant to spend a second weekend finding a framer and a stud, so the framing, the fixings and the artist's own note on where it should hang all travel with it.
In the box
What actually arrives
Work leaves here finished. You are not meant to spend a second weekend finding a framer and a stud, so this is what travels with every piece.

Framed
Conservation glass and a solid oak or blackened ash moulding, chosen with the artist.

Unframed
Rolled in acid-free tissue in a rigid tube, or flat-packed if the work will not roll.

Hanging
A brass hook, the right screws, and a card with the height the artist hangs it at.

Papers
Signed certificate, edition number where there is one, and the artist's own note on the work.

Buy the one you keep looking at. It is almost never the one you meant to buy.
