Description
A jhumka is a bell, and a good one has weight in it — enough to swing and settle rather than flutter. This one is cast in 92.5 silver from a mould lifted off a temple piece from the Thanjavur region.
Granulated dome, seventeen hanging beads, oxidised into the recesses so the pattern reads from across a room.
Heavier than it looks. Wear it with a hook back if your ears object.
