Khus Hydrosol^Preview

Khus is vetiver root, and in north Indian summers it was woven into window screens and kept wet so the wind arrived cooled and smelling of earth. This is that smell, distilled in a copper deg and caught as water.

Use it as a face mist, a pillow spray, or in a jug of drinking water. It is genuinely cooling, not metaphorically.

Distilled in Kannauj by a family in their fourth generation of doing it.
